We stayed at the Hampton Inn for a long weekend, Thursday night to Sunday morning. Upon check in (and every afternoon/evening!), we were treated to fresh-baked cookies at the front desk, where they also have coffee 24 hours. We had a third-floor room (the building has 3 floors) at the end of the hall, and it was very quiet. The room was plenty spacious, with a king bed, desk/table with two chairs, armoire with television, and refrigerator/microwave cabinet. The bathroom had a nice vanity with shelves below as well as shelves built into the wall. It has a walk-in shower (no bathtub) with a WaterPik shower head. Water pressure wasn't great, but it was okay, and we never ran out of hot water. The bathroom has a great hairdryer, a lighted vanity mirror, and a nightlight on the outlet. The towels were pretty decent thickness and were very plentiful. The coffeemaker is kept in the bathroom. There is an adequate closet that holds an ironing and ironing board. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, fruit, breads/pastries, yogurt, cereal, and waffles. The front desk staff were always very pleasant and helpful, and never seemed to judge multiple trips to the cookies!! Stacks of the local newspaper are provided in the lobby, and I think I saw a USA Today as well, but I can’t be sure about that. The breakfast/lobby area was plenty big with tables and chairs as well as sofas and a couple of televisions. The décor is very tasteful and a little beachy. Outside has a pool and hot tub in a nice setup with lounge chairs. There may have been a grill, but I’m not entirely certain. All in all, we had a very pleasant weekend stay there and hope to return.

Hotel condition was excellent. Most hospitable, helpful and cordial staff we have had the pleasure to experience anywhere. Breakfast selections were very good. Everything about our stay at this Hampton was very pleasing and enjoyable.

This Hampton Inn was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and will stay again when we go back to Rockport TX. Front the front desk we were greeted and made to feel welcome. Coffee and cookies as we checked in made our day. The rooms were clean and relaxing. The next morning at breakfast we couldn't have asked for fresher food or more friendly staff. Great place to stay!
